Raghavendar Askani Journey of Youth for Better India (YBI)

Raghavendar askani, National Coordinator of Youth for Better India, a Youth organization promoting strong anti-corruption as Co-founder and established a massive movement against corruption in India and organized many anti-corruption walks like Dandi March II (an event organized globally in more than 60 cities to bring the Strong & independent anti-corruption institutions in India) in Andhra Pradesh. we collect One Lakh signature campin for strong Jan Lokpal bill in Telugu states nearly we collect 20,000 signatures from Mahabubnagar District in 2012, we sent the signature cards to Indian Prime Minister.

I was inspired by Dr. JP and Anna Hazare started My Journey with Youth for Better Indian and through it:

I also started working with the Outreach & training division of Foundation for Democratic Reforms, a Research think-tank based on Hyderabad which supporting Youth of better India to train young leaders on Leadership and management skills. ANNA HAZARE MOVEMENT my first step into social activities has seen in the limelight during one of India’s biggest movement against corruption lead by Anna Hazare to bring the Lokpal bill. He did his part in this movement by mobilizing public reaching out to their homes and youngsters with public meetings, bike rallies, etc. He alone succeeded in gathering more than 40,000 supporters for the cause.

- Train youth on issues like Right to Information Act, tools to eradicate corruption, political and electoral reforms, citizenship and leadership

- Started massive movements against corruption and organized many anti-corruption walks like Dandi March II. He personally reached out to youngsters through public meetings and bike rallies for this

- Building a grassroots movement across south India through partnerships

* Enhance awareness among college students and youth about Citizenship, Governance and it is reformed (Political Reforms, Electoral Reforms, and Economic Reforms).

* Anti Corruption (Building movements to fight against the Corruption: RTI, Public Participation Walks, Awareness about Anti-Corruption Institutions).

* Youth Empowerment: Platform for youth (Identify & Improve skills, talents in the Youth and Provide a platform to showcase their skills and talents for their career development and Nation Building).

* Environmental Awareness (Create awareness about the environment and protect planet earth)

* Identify and Take Up Youth Issues and try to solve their problems.
