Youth Parliament is an ideal platform for socially conscious youth to express their "Views, Ideas and to act as a change agent in National building process”

Mission:

To Create Awareness and Empower Youth though Youth parliament sessions where Youth can come together, think, discuss and debate on various issues, such as Education and Health , Electoral and Political Reforms, Judicial & Police Reforms, Local Governments & Citizen-cantered governance, Governance Reforms, Instruments of Accountability, Public Policy Reforms in India.

“Tap the power of youth”… It’s not just a statement. But, a motivation/driving force behind our decision to choose the road called “Youth Parliament”.

Youth Parliament would-

          The Youth Parliament is a platform for the youth to speak up and make an impact on the change agenda for the country. To take on the policy makers and highlight the need for new thinking that will take the country forward. The Youth Parliament will be a debate between the best debaters and policy makers and opinion makers.
 
the platform will inspire the youth to express their views in an organized way. It will also allow for the emergence of bright future leaders.

Youth Parliament session is designed to engage as many stakeholders as possible including participation of Inspiring Organizations & Individuals who have vast experience in the field of Education .The session will revolve around the proposed suggestions to The New Education Policy by Foundation for Democratic Reforms under the leadership of Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan (Founding president of Loksatta).

      The session will include a discussion on the proposed bill, general opinion & Suggestions from the members and then passing of a resolution with necessary changes. 
It will sure be an engaging & enriching session & worth your time!! Your presence will sure add value to the program; will be looking forward to the event!!

ü Lay a bridge between youth/like-minded people working for society/who are social conscious and government by providing a common platform and foster for a healthy discussion on political reforms, parliamentary activities, policy making, education and employment.

However, this most powerful weapon is rusty in present generation. And the result is a decline in employability skills among the future generation of India.
 To protect our country from being hampered by this situation and to reach the goal of true education i.e. Intelligence plus character, Youth Parliament has taken its first step on 2^nd October’16 at Osmania University, Hyderabad.
The session included discussion on the new education policy prepared by Foundation for Democratic Reforms under the leadership of Dr.Jayaprakash Narayan, founding president of Loksatta.

Participation of inspiring organizations & individuals who have vast experience in the field of education allowed a scholarly discussion on the proposed bill and 25 new amendments were made.

* Second session was conducted at Kakatiya University, Warangal on 23rd November’16. This session emerged as an ideal platform for youth and school children to voice their views and ideas. Participation of inspiring organizations & individuals who have vast experience in the field of education allowed a scholarly discussion on the proposed bill and 40 new amendments were made.

* Youth Parliament Program conducted Third session was conducted at Akshara Vanam, Kalwakurthy on 12th November 2016 Youth Parliament (children's Parliament) with School Student.

* Youth Parliament Program, People Against Corruption conducted fourth session Discussion on "Corruption - Black Money – Taxes at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Auditorium King Koti, Hydeabad on Nov 23rd. 

* Youth Parliament Program and Foundation for Democratic Reforms (FDR) Vision India Foundation organized fifth session Youth Parliament Program - Discussion on “Agricultural Crisis & Farmer suicides” (Towards finding solution). Panel on Jayaprakash Narayan Garu, General secretary FDR, Ramanjaneyulu GV ,  Agricultural Scientist, VattiVenkat, Former IT Professional, Farm 2 Fridge, PalleSrujana , Ekalavya Foundation Hyderabad Among other elite members as the panel. 2nd Feb 2017 at Tata Institute of Social SciencesHyderabad, Telangana.
